The Pensions Board
The Pensions Board is the statutory body charged with regulating occupational pension schemes and PRSA's. There is frequent confusion between its position and the Financial Regulator's. The Pensions Board does not regulate personal pensions and other types of insurance contracts that are widely used for pension investments. These come under the ambit of the Financial Regulator (IFSRA). You can complain to The Pensions Board about breaches of law in relation to occupational pension schemes and PRSA's.
